Northamptonshire Archives catalogues

Northamptonshire Archives houses and curates a vast collection of original records. The online catalogue contains extensive but not exhaustive information about its holdings. Material kept there which is not listed in detail online may be identified by using on-site card indexes and paper catalogues.

The National Archives site lists over 2,500 Northamptonshire archive collections. The same page includes a section headed "Paper Catalogues available to view at the National Archives" which provides details for 439 collections whose catalogues have been digitised by The National Archives. 148 of these have been scanned and can be downloaded as PDFs, with online access to a further 22.
